DO YOU STILL USE SHOWER CAP?


On a beautiful Sunday morning, I got dressed to meet up with the early market. You know how they say the early bird catches the worm right? (Smiles)


As I was about stepping out of the house, it became cloudy and the heavens were visibly pregnant with abundance of rain. I made up my mind not to linger any longer as the rain could disrupt my plan.

I decided to say a word of prayer and declared by faith that it shouldn't rain till I get back home. As I was leaving the house, I remembered I wasn't with my shower cap so  I quickly rushed inside to pick it.

I was yet to reach the junction of my street when it started drizzling. Immediately, I brought out my shower cap and wore it proudly.

Fast forward to when I was coming back, I discovered passers-by were giving me weird looks and I kept asking myself what was wrong with my appearance.

As I got closer to my house, I suddenly remembered I still had my shower cap on despite the fact that it didn't eventually rain. Then I knew why I was getting weird stares. Lagos Lookers sha.

A few minutes after, I got a nudge in my spirit which reminded me of all that happened before I left the house including the words of prayer I claimed to have said in faith. The Holy Spirit asked me why I still went with the shower cap and even used it proudly. I felt ashamed of myself and quickly made peace within me.

Why did I take you through my story? To be candid, like me, many of us after having prayed in so called faith still keep alternatives which in my case was a shower cap. A situation of having a side chick with God as the Main chick.

We'll be like, "incase God no do am, I go use this alternative. God no go shame us oh." Sincerely,  when we pray in faith, our actions should also align with our words. Never forget that God says " the just shall live by faith."

Beloved, God didn't say that the righteous will only pray by faith but they will "live" which is synonymous to "Acting" by faith. Sweetheart, I honestly don't know what your own shower cap is but I can confidently tell you that you don't need it. Drop it!

Sweetheart, God has to be your one and only, not a side chick. He is to be trusted WHOLLY and ONLY. So try and let go of your shower cap.

So I ask you again, DO YOU STILL USE SHOWER CAP? Think about it!

    On a lighter note, some of us don't even use shower cap, na helmet we dey wear untop facecap.😂 May God help us to indeed trust Him only and wholly.
